Beauty Tips and Secrets: How to Apply Foundation like a Pro

Foundation Application is easier than you may think. Here are a few tips to make your skin seamless and beautiful on your wedding day:

Tip 1: Don’t Mask Your Face in Foundation

In my opinion, foundation is meant to even things out, not completely cover everything in a mask-like layer. Unless you feel that you need completely full-coverage (which is fine and if you would like to see my recommendations they are listed in the product info below) apply a thin layer of foundation all over the face and let concealer do the covering up on more noticeable imperfections afterward. This will ensure that your face looks naturally flawless.

Tip 2: Use a Brush

Foundation brushes are a godsend. Using one will give a more even application than using fingers and won’t soak up tons of product like a sponge would. A brush will deposit foundation in all the little areas that need it the most (i.e. around the nose) while smoothing everything seamlessly into the skin.

Tip 3: Cover Your Bases

This means not only covering the face, but also the ears, blending down onto the neck and anywhere else you want your skin to look more uniform. Even if your foundation matches your skin perfectly, ears tend to get red and the neck is usually lighter than the rest of the face due to the fact that the sun does not hit it directly.

I hope these tips helped. Click on the video below to see me in action. Thanks so much for reading and best wishes!
