Wow it feels like forever and we still have one third of the trip to go!

Today was our last day and night in Seville after taking the train from Madrid.

We hated to say goodbye to Madrid. And I will hate to say goodbye to Seville.

That’s been my experience in every Spanish city: I don’t want to leave!

Just the food alone… every day is a new adventure! I’m so glad I’m long over my eating disorder/neuroses days and now I allow myself to try everything. Food is such a big part of Spanish culture, and it’s so very good!

Last night’s tapas favorite: marinated salmon tarter on top of an apple salad. Amazing.

And this was the view from our table, having dinner in the street around the corner from our apartment.

By happy accident I came across a Spanish cultural festival yesterday evening celebrating the traditions of the different regions of Spain–the foods, wines, songs, dances, and traditional costumes… and photos of all the places we DIDN’T visit, just to torture me with desire.

I see this dancing and want to sign up Devin and me for classes.

Here’s a terrible selfie of Devin and me from our balcony overlooking a in the old town part of Seville, about a block away from the Cathedral and palace.
