Ashford Castle Offers Two New Wedding Programs
Ashford Castle, one of the most sought after destinations for a quintessential Irish castle wedding, introduces two new wedding packages, Royal Wedding Proposal and Regal Wedding Proposal. The castle is the go-to place for couples – including celebrity Pierce Brosnan who wed Keely Shaye Smith there in 2001 – looking for an ideal “fairy tale” wedding. With the two new programs, it is practically seamless to create the perfect celebration.
For a large wedding of up to 166 guests, the Royal Wedding Proposal offers exclusive use of the estate and showcases the elegant George V dining room, located the heart of the castle and outfitted with 11 Waterford Crystal chandeliers. The Regal Wedding Proposal caters to smaller weddings of up to 40 people, taking place in the intimate setting of the Connaught Room, once the Lord Ardilaun’s Library. Both packages offer Ashford Castle consults with resident wedding coordinator to help the bride and groom plan their idyllic wedding.
The Royal and Regal packages both include:
Consultation with the wedding coordinator

Select canapés
A half bottle of house wine per person
Complimentary menu tasting for the bride and groom
Special overnight accommodation rate
