Getting Married around the World

Getting married in Mexico
Morgana and I plan to get married in 100 countries around the world. The reason for this is simple. Love and travel are two of our favorite things. By combining the two we unite the best of our worlds. Yes, at least, 100 weddings!
The Next Ten Countries We Will Get Married
In September we will be traveling for a month in the Adriatic and including: Italy, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Slovenia. However, we will likely also get married in San Marino, Vatican City, and the Republic of Srpska.
What Defines a Country for Marriage?
Srpska? Is this a real place?
Yes, the Republic of Srpska is a real place, and we will likely be married in Trebinje, about 45 minutes from Dubrovnik, Croatia. To add upon this we want to honor that some countries have sections that are unique and quite different from the rest of their country. As an example, The Republic of Srpska is part of Bosnia-Herzegovina, and it has its own government and ethnic identity. Its borders are marbled throughout the entire country of Bosnia-Herzegovina. We will marry in Mostar (a Bosnian city) and also get married in a Srpka-governed portion of Sarajevo. Even though this is technically one country, we will count them as two. Not that it really matters!

Day 27 of 30 Days of Love–life lessons, travel challenges, and the bookstore that inspired Harry Potter
I have lost any semblance of tracking what day we're on. I've never been good at calendars or this whole time-space continuum thing. This could be Day 27. It's just getting fuzzy. Today we're in rainy Porto, mostly cuddling up with each other and our many, many books....

DAY 26: Music in the streets of Porto
We arrived in Porto last night. I don't think I've ever seen a prettier city in the night time. And the bridges that cross the river! If Lisbon reminded me of San Francisco, my first impression of Porto was "this reminds me of Seattle" with the all water ways and...

Wedding 25: Lisbon, Portugal
We were blessed to be wed by my friend the famous Dream Coach Marcia Wieder, a wonderful High Priestess who was moving into her Lisbon apartment the very day of our wedding. Our wedding was witnessed by her two small dogs Ciao and Bella. https://youtu.be/dt1_WY6vI_0...

Day 24: Video Blogging live from the streets of Lisbon
Devin's taking a nap, so I'm hitting the streets. I found an artisanal market, drank some sour cherry liquor in a chocolate cup, and I'm just checking out the streets and shops near our apartment in Lisbon, and talking about cosmic signs and stuff. Tomorrow we get...

Day 23: Magick in Portugal
Knights Templar, Masons, Alchemy, Crowley, Pessoa, the Quinta da Regaleira, tarot cards… we've discovered a lot of unexpected Magick in Portugal! Yesterday we explored the gardens of the Quinta da Regaleira Palace in Sintra. Wow! Talk about an ideal location for...

Day 22 in Lisbon: A Room With a View (and what a view!)
Hello Lisbon! Will you get a load of the view from our apartment? I recorded two short videos (my internet failed a couple of minutes into the first one...) Cool quirks about our apartment in Lisbon. Our apartment building is roughly 300 years old. I don't think we...

Day 21: The Road to Lisbon
We caught an early morning bus for a 6 hour ride to Lisbon from Portugal. (The train is an epic 13 hours between these two cities. In the end bus was the best way to go.) I finished Phillip Pullman's new novel in his Golden Compass/Dark Materials/Dust cosmology. I...

Day 20 of 30 Days of Love: Eat, Dance, Love
Wow it feels like forever and we still have one third of the trip to go! Today was our last day and night in Seville after taking the train from Madrid. We hated to say goodbye to Madrid. And I will hate to say goodbye to Seville. That's been my experience in every...
Day 19 of 30 Days of Love: Madrid, the day after wedding #24
No make-up check in the day after wedding #24...

Day 18 of 30 Days of Love: Madrid Wedding (and 6 more proposals)
Yup, we have a wedding video with our new friend Elisabeth Mudera's totally inspiring words on LOVE: https://youtu.be/2kkwpbISvCk What you don't see on the video is what happened behind the scenes... When a bunch of noisy kids showed up as we were setting up to...
